Lois Pifer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Pifer (Brookville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis H. Strouse and Amy Jane Strouse (Beck); her spouse Hayes Allen Pifer; her siblings, King, Earl, Bruce, Willis J. Strouse, Grace and Alice Peace; and her son-in-law E. Russell Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Eloise Kosko (Victor) of Luthersburg, Cynthia Peace of Stump Creek, Lydia Crooks (James) of Clarion, Janet Eastman (Harold) of Biglerville, Brian Pifer (Susan) of LeRaysville, Faith Newman (Russell) of Indiana and Ross Pifer (Rachel) of Bellefonte; her sister Gladys Peace of DuBois; and her close friend Michelle Pifer of Reynoldsville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 17 step-great grandchildren.
