She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Neilson and Lorraine Montanaro Neilson; and her sister Dawn Neilson. She is survived by: her husband John L. Laursen; her children, John M. Laursen (Casey) and Andrea Knapp (Andrew); her sister Kathleen Mendus; and her grandchildren, Braelyn Knapp and Nora Laursen.
Her family suggests memorial donations be made in her memory to the ALS Foundation of Western PA.
