He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moore; his children, Joe Holben Jr., Scott Holben (Michelle), Toby Holben, Merle "Ben" Holben and Lannette Welsh (Jeff); his grandchildren, Teara, Nicholas Welsh, Trent, Brooke and Cort Holben; and his siblings, George Holben, Dave Holben (Mamie), Jeff Wolfe (Rita), Valerie Simon (Jeff), Judy Bylerly and Jane Clark.
