He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Josiah Stahlman and Bertha Matthews Hewitt; his wife Donna Mae Wolfe; and his siblings, Charles M. "Bud" Stahlman, Mary Ellen "Babe" Didion and Sara K. "Sis" Ferguson.
He is survived by: his children, James C. Stahlman, Jr. (Nariza) of Brookville, Jeffery B. Stahlman (Vicki) of Brookville, Jerry R. Stahlman (Patricia) of Brookville and Julie A. Bilquist (Jeffrey) of Brookville; his grandchildren, Gretchen Stahlman, Nathan Stahlman (Beth), Matthew Stahlman (Stephanie), Angela Stahlman, Geena Long (Joshua) and Robert Bilquist; his great grandchildren, Mikayla Stahlman, Hunter Stahlman, Gracelyn Rishell and Sawyer Long; and his siblings, Martha Walter (PL) of Corsica, Janet Anthony (Robert) of Punxsutawney and Wilson "Bill" Stahlman of Brookville.
