Iva Bodenhorn Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iva Bodenhorn (Brookville, Pennsylvania), who passed away on December 14, 2019 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Iva Bodenhorn to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlan A. Ishman and Mabel Ishman (Smith); her husband Alex Samuel Bodenhorn; her siblings, Della Smith, Stella Grove (Milliron), Effie Hetrick, Emma Reitz, Hilda Daugherty, Dorothy Bish, Edward Ishman, Clint Ishman, A. I. Ishman, Bud Ishman and James Ishman; her granddaughter Jennifer Ann Smith; and her great great grandchild Addilynn Drum.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Taylor (Huey) of Brookville, PA, Leah "Jean" Smith of Brookville, PA and Richard "Dick" Bodenhorn (Tammy) of Ridgway, PA; her sister Jean Strouse of Leesburg, FL; and her grandchildren, Amy Kalgren (Robert), Joshua Huey (Leanne), Kim Weisner (Adam), Alexandra Bodenhorn (Brian), Lucas Bodenhorn (Simone), Matthew Bodenhorn (Lindsay), Christopher Meyer (Alysia) and Jason Smith (Sharon). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
