It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gale Smith of Brookville, Pennsylvania, born in Summerville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert D. Hawk Jr. and Alice Hawk (Jones); her husband Leon C. Smith; her son Charles Smith; and her brothers, Delbert D. Hawk and Edwin O. Hawk.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Silvis (Michael) of Brookville, PA, Clifford Smith (Karen) of Bluemont, VA and Carrie Park (Ryan) of Mayport, PA; and her daughter-in-law Ann Smith of St. Augustine, FL.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
