She is survived by: her children, Lauren Goater-Mathis (Alvin) of Vinton, Virginia, Rebecca Ann Goater of Orono and John Goater (Sara Knowles) of Cape Coral, Florida; her grandchildren, Nicholas Goater, Zachary Trembley (Goater), Brittney Mathis, Austin Goater-Knowles, Cassie Knowles and Evan Knowles; her great grandchild Easton Mathis; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Connor (Goater) and Alice Dunwody.
