She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Mary E. Caldwell (Park); her husband John "Jack" H. Gerg; her son Jay Alan Gerg; her grandson Connor Jay Gerg; and her siblings, Blaine R. Caldwell, John P. Caldwell, Merle L. Caldwell, Helen Dinger, Ruth Heath, Mary Shilling and Betty Beck.
She is survived by: her children, Hud Gerg (Gretchen) of Woodruff, SC., Thomas Gerg (Beth) of Brookville, PA, Susan Gerg of Brookville and Anne Lyle (Darren) of Brookville; and her grandchildren, Chase Lyle, Dane Lyle and Christian Gerg.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Brookville Presbyterian Church, 100 South White Street, Brookville, PA or to the Brookville YMCA, 125 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
