It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Burkett (Brookville, Pennsylvania), born in Timblin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burkett and Ruth Burkett (Thompson); his wife Jean Kiehl; and his brother Harold Burkett. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Emery of Emerickville; his sister-in-law Gertrude "Joyce" Burkett of Brookville; his close friend Shirley Emery of Brookville; his sons, Jeffrey Burkett (Carrie) of Sigel and William Burkett of Brookville; and his grandchildren, Cassandra Burkett, Nathan Burkett of Sigel and Caleb Burkett of Sigel.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity for which Don had great affection, Jews for Jesus, at 60 Haight Street, San Francisco, CA 94102.
