He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cooksey and Donna Mae Geer. He is survived by: his wife Traci L. Young; his daughter LeAnn Geer of Jonesboro Arkansas; his granddaughter Diliah Barton of Jonesboro; and his siblings, Joseph Cooksey (Phyllis) of Florida, Glen Cooksey of Florida, Janice Carlite of Florida and Terri Kaurich of Florida.
