With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Matson of Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 3, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha K. Matson and George R. Matson; his siblings, Robert D. Matson (Joan) and Martha M. Strempel (Robert); his niece Linda Weimer; and his nephew John D. Matson.
He is survived by: his sister Mary Ayer (Richard); and his nieces and nephews, James Matson (Pamela), David Strempel (Cristina), Diana Smail (David), Becky Pysh (Paul), Jan Vasko and Barbara Conti (Richard). He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Brookville Presbyterian Church 100 N. White St. Brookville, PA. 15825, or the Brookville YMCA, 125 Main St., Brookville, PA 15825.
