It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty J. Confer of Brookville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Murray and Olive Murray (Byers); her former husband Lewis "Dean" Confer; her husband Earl Confer; her grandchildren, Susan and Thomas Alcorn; her siblings, Ed, Bob, Laverne Murray and Shirley Troutman; and her son-in-law Jeff Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Ann Ward (James) of Strattanville, Patricia Diane Shaw of Rimersburg and Penny Sue Hohman (Denny) of Brookville; her sister Mary Louise Holman; her grandchildren, Matthew Alcorn, Amy Smith, Casey Shaw, Summer Haskins, Kayla Marsh, Rachael Jewell, Alex Hohman and Joshua Keesecker; and her pet Abbie. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
