Betty Bell Barr Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2018, at the age of 92, Betty Bell Barr (Brookville, Pennsylvania), born in Knox, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Gerald Harris; her children, Gerald Miller and Pamela Ann Lightcap; her granddaughter Mindy Bowser (Park); and her siblings, Cornelius "Neil" Sayers Gelnett, Dorothy Reinard and Gloria Hope Lingenfelter.

She is survived by: her parent Bonnie Alma Gelnett (Thrush); her spouses, Harris Miller and Wilbert George Benson Knapp; her children, Deborah Gay Park (Dean) of Brookville and Phillip Mark Knapp (Janice) of Brookville; her stepchildren, Vonnie Shaffer (Glenn) of Corsica, Crystal Cochran (Denny) of Brookville and Gary Barr of Brookville; her siblings, Jeff Alton Gelnett (Sherrie) of DuBois and Connie Leigh Blanchette (Bob) of Washington; and also, Bob Wadding of Dayton and Bea Barr of Brookville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Betty's memory to the Coolspring or Stanton United Methodist Church.
