He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Clarke and Dorothy Reese Clarke; his brothers, David E. and Thomas W. Clarke; and his grandson Kristopher Clarke.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth B. Clarke; his children, Elizabeth C. (Beth), Fishel (Terry) of Gettysburg, Frederick P. Clarke (Janet) of Mountville, Janice R. Fapore (Mike) of Somerset and Amanda Clarke (Ramón Arrowsmith) of Phoenix, Arizona; and his grandchildren, David, Daniel Clarke, Kathleen Fishel Fluman, Ellen Fishel, Patrick and Michaela Fapore. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
