He was predeceased by: his parents, Anoinette B. DeMaio and James L. DeMaio; his brother Jimmy DeMaio (Donna J. DeMaio); and his children, Joseph S. DeMaio and Leesa DeMaio.

He is survived by: his wife Kimmie; his sisters, Agnes D. Mcglaughlin and Marie D Travilini; and his children, Michelle Caldwell and James DeMaio (Trina).
