He was predeceased by: his father Horace Coia; and his uncle Alexander Coia. He is survived by: his mother Marianne Coia (Bianchini); his sister Jennifer Maiale (Stephen); his niece Gioia; his nephews, Nicholas and Salvatore; his close friend Perla S. Pierce; his stepchildren, Francesca, Andrea and Angelo; and his granddaughter Peyton Joe.
