He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Moletteri and Marion Moletteri (Moreno); his stepmother Stella Moletteri (Slezak); and his brother Felix Moletteri. He is survived by: his siblings, Josephine Taylor, Patrick Moletteri and Thomas Moletteri; his wife June Ann Moletteri (Hower); his children, Marian Moletteri, John S. Moletteri, Jr. (Karen), Donna LaRose (Joe), Anita Leonard and Novella Moletteri; his grandchildren, John III, Karly, Kayla, Kristyn, Joseph, Jessica and Haylee; and his great grandchildren, Melina, Sienna, Reid, Hunter, Miabella, Jaxon, Luke, Armen and Braely.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Audrey Santo Foundation or to Our Lady of Charity Church.
