In the sacred silence of farewell, Jane is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jane's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward P. Swanson Jr.; her mother Helen Battersby; and her siblings, James Machamer and Jeb Battersby. She is survived by: her great grandchild Sophia Capone; her children, Edward P. Swanson, III and Michelle Ferguson (Jim) of Brookhaven, PA; and her sister Pat Battersby of Delaware. She is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandsons, 1 Great Granddaughter and many cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Myrrh-Bearer's Eastern Catholic Church (900 Fairview Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081).
