Smedley of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George C. Smedley and Helen Smedley (Burns); and her siblings, George Smedley, Hunter Smedley, Robert Smedley, Harry Smedley, Elizabeth Stanaitis, Mary Dougherty and Helen Shanahan.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Bob Blackburn; and her sisters-in-law, MaryAnn Smedley and Lynn Smedley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd.. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Chester Rural Cemetery (441 W 21st St, Chester, PA 19013). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home.
