She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Ray Brown; her parents, Laymon George Mortorff and Elnora Irene Mortorff (Nickle); her children, Terry Smith, Elnora Smith and James Smith; her grandchildren, Terry Smith, II and Shawn Daugherty; and her siblings, Dorothy Mae, Richard, Madeline, Lloyd and Lillian.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Smith (Pat) of Airville, PA, Todd Smith of East Prospect, PA, Stacey Brown of Oxford, PA, Kelly Wise (Jim) of Brogue, PA and Belinda Daugherty (Nevin); and her siblings, George Mortorff of Delta, PA, Louise Stern of Red Lion, PA and Laymon Mortorff. She is also survived by Seventeen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
