He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Cocivera Taylor; his parents, Oliver Vernard and Emma Arnold Taylor; and his siblings, Delores A. (late Willis Tyson), J. Donnell (Margaret "Peggy" Taylor) and Joe A. (Sue Ann Ludwig Taylor).
He is survived by: his children, John E. (Jody Hake Taylor) of Brogue, Rosella B. (Kendall Madonna) of Kirkwood and Vernard L. "Nard" (Angie Wilson Taylor) of Brogue; and his siblings, Nancy (late Mervin Grove) of Red Lion, Samuel (Kay Snyder Taylor) of Brogue and Geraldine (late Franklin King) of Red Lion. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
