She was predeceased by: her husband Paul E. Daugherty; her parents, John L. Ness and Ida E. Ness (Weisheit); her son Kenneth P. Daugherty; her grandchildren, Shawn M. Daugherty and Monica J. Daugherty; and her siblings, Dolly Arndt, Ronald Ness, John Ness and Bobby Ness.
She is survived by: her children, Nevin E. Daugherty (Belinda), Glen A. Daugherty (Susan), Dean R. Daugherty (Judy), Lois M. Jordan (Robert) of Brogue, Kay E. Waltermyer (Jeff) of Brogue and Darlene L. Daugherty of Red Lion; and her brother Ervin Ness of Manchester. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services (134 W Broadway, Red Lion, PA 17356-2104). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in Betty's memory to her church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 48 Muddy Creek Forks Road, Brogue, PA 17309.
