He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Powers and Theresa D. Powers (Roach). He is survived by: his wife Doreen Powers (McKenna); his daughters, Valerie Powers and Jennifer Vales (Jason); and his sister Mary Moschella (Patrick) of Staten Island, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
