He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. Hoffman and Mary Altemose Hoffman (Kretzing); and his brother Charles Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Hoffman (Shook); his children, Christina Scheller (David) of Effort and Eric (Lisa) of Brodheadsville; his grandchildren, Amanda Altemose, Matthew Altemose and David Hoffman; his niece Dana Hoffman Swanger (Brandt); and his nephew Mark Hoffman (Amanda).
