With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John J. Meklo of Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 20, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Meklo and Elizabeth Meklo (Tanzosh); his wife Frieda Meklo (Kuecks); and his siblings, Elsie, Henry and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Renate Rao (Joseph) of Putnam Valley, NY, John G. Meklo (Marie) of Long Island, NY and Richard Meklo of Brodheadsville, PA.; his grandson Joseph Rao (Lisa); his great grandchild Julian Rao of Putnam Valley, NY; and his granddaughter Maria Fergus (Jahmaine) of New Paltz, NY..
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Buena Vista Cemetery (1915 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322).
