He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Gilbert (Simpson); and his parents, James Gilbert and Helen Gilbert-Marsh (Little). He is survived by: his children, Bill Gilbert (Carol) of Perkasie, Bruce Gilbert (Deborah) of Holland, Sandra Ringheiser (Paul) and Janie Cliver (Scott) of Edwards, CO. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and thirty great grandchildren.
