He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernhard Oscar and Edith Roy (Wolf); his wife Carole Silfies; his sister Christina Walker; and his brother-in-law Robert Silfies.
He is survived by: his brother Dieter Roy (Delores) of Jamestown, PA; and his sister-in-law Velma Silfies of Kunkletown. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
