He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Cromwell and Mary Olive Longwell Stuart; his brother Dr. William Stuart; and his nephew William "Will" Stuart. He is survived by: his wife Lori Johnston; his sister Nancy Poust (Charles); his niece Mary Margaret Barrentine (Tom); his great-niece Kristy Brown; his nephew John Stuart (Lauren); his niece Caroline Francis (Tom); his great-nieces, Sara and Anna Francis; his nephew Robert Poust (Shannon); his great-niece Elliana Poust; his great-nephew Anthony Poust; and also Phoenyx.
