He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Fremer and Helen Strishock Fremer. He is survived by: his children, William "Billy" Fremer, Rebecca Fremer McCarthy (James), Michael Fremer (Christiana) and Andrew Fremer (Kaitlin) of Brockway; his siblings, Martha Preston (Robert "Bo Hunk") of Brockway, Evelyn Hicks (Rodney) of California, Tina Decker (Tom) of Brockway, Carl "Chuck" Fremer (Georgia) of Brockway, Daniel "Boone" Fremer (Marie) of Brockway and George "Heffer" Fremer (Peggy) of Brockway; and his grandchildren, Blakely, Lennox, Quinn and Theodore Paul Fremer.

Memorial donations may be made to the Paul V. Fremer Scholarship fund in care of S&T Bank in Brockway.
