She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Rees and Cecilia Scherer Rees; her husband William P. Verne; and her siblings, Paul, Eugene, Margret Mary "Sis" Dussia, Karl, Rose Mary Yarmey, Adeline Rees, Yvonne "Bonnie" Weidert and Patricia Koval.
She is survived by: her son William Verne (Jane) of Catawba Island, Ohio; her grandchildren, Antonio Verne (Shelby) and Kristina Alkhoury (Ghattas); and her great grandchildren, Sophia Verne, Giovanni Verne, Dominik Alkhoury and Vincenzo Alkhoury. She is also survived by 72 nieces and nephews.
