He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert B. Uplinger and Maxine E. Lindemuth Uplinger; and his wife Joyce. He is survived by: his children, Shari Glasgow of Illinois, Mark Uplinger (Erica) of Brockway and Chad Uplinger (Angela) of Erie, PA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 6 step-daughters; 9 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Elk County Humane Society 1029 E. Eschbach Road St. Marys, PA 15857.
