He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Statler and Edna Roupe Statler; his wife Marjorie Statler (Davis); his daughter Charlene Whelpley (Bub); and his siblings, Virgil, Hubert, Robert Statler, Loretta Willis, Irene Phillips, Katherine Brand, Betty Folkins and Helen Statler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Statler (Marjorie) of Amherst, Ohio, Mary Walters (William) of Geneva and Jane Mooney (William) of Vermilion, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Adam Statler (Ellie) of DuBois, Angela Mitchell (Kenny), Hilliary Marshall (Deek) and Ashley Sheaffer (Lucas). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
