Joseph P. Baka Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joseph P. Baka (Brockway, Pennsylvania), who passed away at the age of 87, on January 22, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Baka and Catherine V. Timko Baka; and his siblings, Paulina Baka (Judith) of Cherry Hill, MD. and Thomas E. Baka. He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara V. Montresor of State College, PA and George G. Baka of Brockway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. (1033 4th Ave, Brockway, PA 15824). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
