He was predeceased by: his father Merle Byers; his wife Delores Mae Holben; and his daughter Lorna Heitzenrater. He is survived by: his sons, George L. Holben II and Michael B. Holben. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five siblings.
