It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William I. Petitti of Brockport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 21, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Petitti and Verda Dee Richards Petitti; his wife Virginia Eukon Carlini; his brother Jerry Petitti; and his niece Darlene Petitti.
He is survived by: his brother Jon Petitti of Brockway; his nieces and nephews, Bridget Courtright of Charleston, SC, Michele Petitti of DuBois, PA, Colette Lyle of DuBois, Scott Petitti of DuBois, Michael Petitti of DuBois and John Richard Petitti of Hazen, PA.; and his godchildren, Billy Lyle and Bridget.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. (1033 4th Ave, Brockway, PA 15824). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Tobias Catholic Church (1135 Hewitt St, Brockway, PA 15824). The military honors was held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at the American Legion.
