He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stapleton and Dorothy Stapleton (Brown); his son Timothy John Stapleton; and his brothers, Randolph and Walter Stapleton.
He is survived by: his wife Kathie Stapleton (Chilcote); his children, Angels Hess (Jeff), Amanda Fessler (Mark), Sara Rhoads (Kevin) and Daniel; his grandchildren, Dylan Oswald, Laura, Miranda Wible, Mackenzie Smith, Tallulah, Hudson, Josie and Mila Rhoads; and his siblings, Connie Rundle, Sally Brown, Mary Lynne Ellinger, Carol Meck, George and David Stapleton. He is also survived by father and pappy who provided his grandchildren.
