He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Burkett and Alice Fern Burkett (Bussard); and his brothers, William Lynn Burkett (Anna) and David Franklin Burkett (Helen). He is survived by: his siblings, John Burkett, Esther Burkett (Lynn) of West Newton, PA, Rebecca Dolte (Burkett) of Saxton, PA., Philip Dolte of Saxton, PA., James Burkett of Saxton, PA., Nancy Reed (Burkett) of Saxton, PA. and Joel Reed of Saxton, PA.. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and 27 great nieces and nephews.
