He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar C. Horton and Edythe Horton (Whited); his grandson R. Colby Horton; and his siblings, John D. Horton and Janelle Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Horton (Black); his children, Ronald D. Horton (Tracie) and Janet E. Hoover (Craig); his grandsons, Ronald C. Horton (Courtney) and Colt M. Hoover; his great grandchildren, Kameron, Karlee, Laney, Kolbie and Lexie; and his siblings, James E. Horton and Alice L. Smeigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
