He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cessna and Helen Pennell Cessna. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Stevenson; his brother Samuel Cessna (Patricia MacDonald); his son Michael (Diana); and his grandson Mason of Valrico, Florida.. He is also survived by his loving wife, family and friends.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Wood United Methodist Church or the Huntingdon County Humane Society.
