He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Newton and Madeline Ellen Horton (Foore); and his brother Jeffery A. Horton. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Horton (Rabenstein); his children, Nichole (Mark Irvin), Travis Horton (Brittany) and Clair I. Horton Jr. (Melanie); his grandchildren, Madelynn, Nash Irvin, Oaklee, Grant Horton, Katie and Amanda Horton; and his siblings, Robert Horton (Janice), Blaine Horton (Mary Lou) and Kim (late Paul Didyk). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
