She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis G. Ellis and Katherine L. Ellis; her husband Morris W. "Bud" Carter; her son Jonathan F. Carter (Ann); and her siblings, Katherine Smoyer, Elizabeth Pecoraro, John Ellis and William Ellis.
She is survived by: her friend Caring; her children, Morris E. "Bud" Carter (April) and Sarah K. Carter (Thomas); her grandchildren, Kelly Steier (Nick), Kristin Carter, Thomas Carter (Lauren), Caitlin Bley (Daniel) and Leigh Ann Carter; and her great grandchildren, Braelin, Camden, Kaia, Mason and Daniel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
