With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Martin of Bristol, Pennsylvania, born in Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 19, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garshell and Anna Garshell (Harvilla); her husband William J. Martin; and her siblings, Paul Garshell, Thomas Garshell, Mary Houser and Eleanor Brislin.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Burton (David), Dennis Martin (Maryellen), Janice Abel (Rick), Timothy Martin (Mary), Cindy Veight (Jerry) and Kimberly Fani (Paul); and her siblings, Dorothy Hess of Hummelstown, Anna Fedor of Tamaqua, John Garshell (Nancy) of Laurel, Elizabeth Padgett (Jettie) of Plant City, Fla., Joan Pinarowicz (Millard) of Nuangola, Francis Garshell (Sharon) of Hazle Village, Janet Lakitsky (Michael) of Andreas and Kathleen Marsiglio of West Hazleton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
