He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kane and Catherine Kane (Trout); and his siblings, Ned, Jack, Pat, Kevin and Mary "Sis" Howard.

He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Kane (Mary), Kathy Vasso, Susan Kirk (Jim) and Lisa Cerrone (Ed). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
