It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Richard Currie of Bristol, Pennsylvania, born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on December 31, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, W. James Currie and Justina Currie; his adoptive parents, Rohm, Haas Co and Dow Chemical; his wife Carol; his siblings, Eleanor Lynn Currie, Christine Beth Rannie Grimbol and David George Currie; his children, James Currie (Barbara) of Langhorne, PA, Richard Currie (Denise) of Sicklerville, NJ, Catherine Rosta (Joseph) of Fallsington, PA, Keith Currie (Grace) of Cherry Hill, NJ, Laura Stenger (Rick Stein) of Bristol, PA and Daniel Currie (Lisa) of Royersford, PA.; and his siblings, Susan Currie of Paoli, PA and Tom Currie (Sally) of Westerville, OH. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
