He is survived by: his wife Francine Hargrove Rawlings; his children, Camilla Rawlings Cryer, Theresa Rawlings and Howard Rawlings, Jr. (Howard); his granddaughters, Sierra Rawlings and Tatyana Rawlings; and his brother Norris Lincoln Rawlings, Sr. (Margaret Smith). He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
