He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Lee and Margaret Ruth McCafferty; and his siblings, Shirley Sayers, Kareen Lasky, Patricia Nix and Mary Marshall.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Herman McCafferty; his children, Kevin McCafferty of Rochester and Darla; his son-in-law Bob Hathaway of Brighton Twp; his siblings, Tim McCafferty (Kathy), John McCafferty (Connie), Kathy McCafferty and Judy Butler (Jim); his grandchildren, Amanda McCafferty (Matt Phillips), Jessica McCafferty (Jason Zapsic), Cory McCafferty, Robert Hathaway (Jess), Cody Hathaway (Jackie) and Timothy Bell (Erica); his great grandchildren, Hailey, Annabelle, Colton, Raelynn, Dylan, Jason Jr., Xander and Jacob; his close friends, Stephen, Valerie Botinovch and Aaron Bement; and his pet Barron. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
