It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Alan Smilek of Brighton Township, Pennsylvania, born in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Floyd, Stella Smilek, Robert and Freda Frederick. He is survived by: his parents, Robert Smilek and Arlene Ciccone (Frederick); his wife Dr. Hilary Jones (Miller); his stepdaughters, Gwendolyn and Meredith Jones; and his sisters, Tammy Popham (Duane) and Adrienne Miller (Walter). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
