She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond A. Shafer and Kathryn L. Shafer (Evans) of Brighton Twp; her husband Robert C. Brashears, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Robert C and Betty Brashears (Edward Paladini); and her close friend Holly White.
She is survived by: her son Mark; her daughter-in-law Sueko Brashears; her daughter Robin Brashears Rimersburg (Gary Carmody); her granddaughters, Samantha Brashears (Mike Payne) and Marisa Brashears of La Planta, MD.; her great grandchildren, Aliah and Kaiya Brashears; her brothers, Robert (Janet Shafer), Chippewa Twp and David Shafer; her sister-in-law Patty Shafer; and her nieces and nephews, Dennis Shafer (Connie), Mike Shafer, Chippewa Twp, Marty Shafer (Jodi), Raeann Shafer and Amanda. She is also survived by cousins and several great nieces and nephews.
