With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Arthur Karas of Brighton Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Karas (Novak) and John F. Karas; his wife Norma Gilkey Karas of Beaver Falls; and his brother Frank. He is survived by: his siblings, Delores A. Karas (Mulvaney) and Francis S. Karas; his son Jay W. Brandenberger (Mary Fran); his granddaughters, Ellen C. Brandenberger of Brooklyn, NY and Rachel E. Brandenberger (John Garry) of Brooklyn; and his niece Debbie Jones (Gilkey).
