It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jayne Lynn Schmitt of Brighton Township, Pennsylvania, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Hores and Mary Mildred Hores (Stegman); and her siblings, John, Robert "Bob" Hores and Andrea Esposito.
She is survived by: her sister Patti Dei; her husband Pete Schmitt; her children, Joseph Schmitt (Christi Kolarcik), Stefanie Lawson (Ben) and Zachary Schmitt (Danica Van Volkenburg); and her grandchildren, Jared Daniel Kolarcik-Schmitt, Reanna Marie Kolarcik-Schmitt, Layla Jayne Kolarcik-Schmitt, Jack David Lawson, Barrett Alan Kolarcik-Schmitt, Kaylee Elizabeth Lawson and Emmett Joseph Kolarcik-Schmitt. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
